​age 96, of Columbia, MO, formerly of Cleveland, OH, passed away on April 30 in MO. Florence (Flossie) was born on September 11, 1920 in Buffalo, NY to Bessie Etkin Molien and Alex Molien. She married Dr. Henry Sable on June 28, 1942 in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1992. Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Sable (George Smith) of Columbia, MO and Jerry Sable (the late Terrie) of Glover, VT; two grandchildren, Alex Sable-Smith of Denver, CO, and Bram Sable-Smith of Columbia. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Joseph Molien and Samuel Molien, and by her close friend Irv Krieger. Services will be held Friday May 5, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Berkowitz- Kumin-Bookatz Memorial Chapel, 1985 S. Taylor Rd., Cleveland Hts. Interment Bet Olam Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following services at 19601 Van Aken Blvd. (Blair House), Shaker Hts., FRIDAY ONLY. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Workmen's Circle Cleveland, Na'amat, Cleveland or the Henry Z. Sable Endowment Fund in Biochemistry, 10900 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44106-7035.
